01
EPC Services
Engineering, Procurement & Construction

Savicon delivers complete EPC execution — taking a project from its earliest statutory groundwork through to a fully commissioned, handed-over plant. We act as a single point of accountability across every phase, so our clients are not left coordinating between separate engineering, procurement, and construction contractors.

Our scope begins before the first brick is laid: we secure the necessary Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate, and other statutory permissions, providing all the technical documentation and support required to obtain them. Once clearances are in place, we manage procurement through a structured L1/L2/L3 bidding process — inviting competitive quotations, conducting technical and commercial analysis, and identifying the best-value source for every major piece of equipment, balancing cost against technical merit, vendor reliability, and lifecycle performance.

From there, Savicon takes up the full fabrication and construction effort, supported by the basic and detailed engineering needed to design the unit, and carries the project through to testing, commissioning, and final handover of a fully operational plant.

Statutory clearances & CTE/CTO support
L1/L2/L3 procurement & vendor selection
Basic & detailed engineering for construction
Fabrication & construction management
Testing & commissioning
Full plant handover
02
Project Management Consultancy
PMC

Savicon's PMC service places a core team of expert engineers and project managers in direct oversight of all contractors engaged by the client — coordinating execution without Savicon itself acting as the contractor of record.

We provide contractors with the necessary drawings, technical direction, and project management discipline required to keep work on track, while serving as the primary point of liaison between the client and every stakeholder involved in the project. This includes managing schedules, resolving technical queries, tracking quality and safety compliance, and ensuring that the many moving parts of a multi-contractor project stay aligned to a single execution plan.

The result is a project that runs with the discipline of a single EPC contract, even when multiple contractors are independently engaged by the client.

Multi-contractor coordination & oversight
Technical drawing issuance & direction
Stakeholder liaison — client & contractors
Schedule, quality & safety tracking
Execution-stage project management
03
DPR, TEFR & Statutory Documentation
Bankable Project Reports

Savicon prepares the detailed documentation that investors, lenders, and promoters rely on to commit capital to a project. Our Detailed Project Report (DPR) work produces a bankable report suitable for loan and financing purposes — including the preparation of a Credit Monitoring Arrangement (CMA) and other technical documents required by financial institutions to assess and approve project funding.

For Techno-Economic Feasibility Reports (TEFR), our scope centres on producing a general project layout along with the foundational plant engineering details required to demonstrate technical and economic viability — giving promoters and investors the rigorous basis they need to make early-stage investment decisions before committing to full project development.

Bankable Detailed Project Reports (DPR)
Credit Monitoring Arrangement (CMA) preparation
Techno-Economic Feasibility Reports (TEFR)
General project layout & basic plant engineering
Lender & investor-ready technical documentation
04
Statutory & Regulatory Support
EC · CTE · CTO

Navigating India's environmental and industrial regulatory framework is one of the most time-sensitive aspects of any new project. Savicon's regulatory support team coordinates directly with the relevant authorities and statutory bodies handling project approvals, ensuring that applications for Environmental Clearance (EC), Consent to Establish (CTE), and Consent to Operate (CTO) are prepared correctly and progressed efficiently.

Our team manages the day-to-day coordination required to keep regulatory applications moving — liaising with the officials and departments responsible for review and approval, and ensuring the client's project stays on schedule through the clearance process.

Environmental Clearance (EC) coordination
Consent to Establish (CTE) support
Consent to Operate (CTO) support
Direct liaison with regulatory authorities

Basic & Detailed Engineering
Design Foundation

Every EPC and project management engagement Savicon undertakes is underpinned by sound engineering. Our basic engineering work establishes the foundational design parameters of a facility — process flow diagrams, equipment sizing, layout planning, and core specifications that define how a plant will function.

Detailed engineering builds on this foundation with the precise drawings, specifications, and technical documentation required to actually construct and commission a facility — covering mechanical, electrical, piping, and civil disciplines as required by the scope of the project. This engineering work forms the technical backbone for procurement, fabrication, and construction across our EPC and PMC engagements.

Process flow & layout engineering
Equipment sizing & specification
Mechanical, electrical & piping design
Construction-ready detailed drawings
06
Civil, Structural Design & Audits
Design & Integrity Assessment

Savicon provides civil and structural design for new industrial facilities, alongside structural audits for existing plant infrastructure. Design work covers the civil and structural engineering needed to support heavy industrial equipment and process units, ensuring foundations, load-bearing structures, and supporting civil works meet the demands of continuous industrial operation.

For operating facilities, our structural audit work assesses the integrity of critical process structures — evaluating structural health, identifying risk zones, and providing actionable recommendations for maintenance prioritisation and long-term reliability. This has included structural assessments of blast furnaces, steel melting shops, and sinter plants for operating steel facilities.

Foundation & load-bearing structure design
Structural integrity audits of operating plants
Risk zone identification & maintenance recommendations
07
Operations & Maintenance
O&M

Savicon takes up complete operational responsibility for client facilities under our O&M engagements. Our scope includes the deployment of skilled manpower across operational and technical roles required to run the plant — from process operators to technical supervisors.

Under O&M, Savicon carries direct responsibility for two outcomes that matter most to plant owners: consistent product quality and reliable production quantity. We manage the day-to-day running of operations with the discipline needed to hit output targets while maintaining the quality standards the client's business depends on.

Our O&M team has the expertise to cater to a range of core industrial facilities, including iron ore pellet and beneficiation plants, DRI units, power plants, and Steel Melting Shops (SMS) — covering the breadth of process and utility operations that these facilities demand.

Process Optimisation
Efficiency & Cost Reduction

Savicon leads end-to-end process optimisation engagements aimed at extracting more value from existing plant operations. This work involves direct review of plant logbooks and operational records to identify inefficiencies, alongside end-to-end supply chain studies conducted to locate where costs can be reduced without compromising output or quality.

Rather than addressing isolated symptoms, Savicon leads the optimisation process as a whole — examining raw material sourcing, process parameters, and operational practices together to identify the changes that deliver the most meaningful improvement in plant economics.

Cost-saving opportunity identification
Process parameter & efficiency review
09
Due Diligence
Acquisition & Asset Assessment

Savicon conducts technical due diligence for companies evaluating the acquisition of industrial assets, or for promoters and investors assessing a project before committing capital. This includes due diligence for the acquisition of non-performing assets (NPAs), as well as broader project and company due diligence work for parties considering an acquisition.

Our due diligence engagements provide the technical clarity decision-makers need — assessing the actual condition, value, and viability of an asset or project before a transaction is finalised.

Automation Solutions
Plant Integration & Operational Intelligence

Savicon provides automation solutions designed to integrate the full spectrum of plant operations — connecting process controls, equipment monitoring, and management decision-making into a single coherent system. Rather than isolated automation of individual units, our approach targets end-to-end integration: bringing together data from across the facility so that operational and management decisions are informed, timely, and consistent.

Effective automation in heavy industry is not just about technology — it requires deep process knowledge to configure systems correctly, and experienced engineers to ensure that what gets automated reflects how the plant actually runs. Savicon brings both: the engineering understanding of the industrial process, and the systems capability to translate that into automation that works reliably in real operating conditions.

Our automation engagements support clients in improving operational consistency, reducing manual intervention in routine decisions, and building the data visibility that allows plant management to identify inefficiencies and respond proactively — whether at the process level or across the broader supply chain.
